The Seattle Space Needle has unveiled its new Skyliner elevator, the first of its kind in North America. The Skyliner is a double-deck, floor-to-ceiling glass elevator that offers unparalleled views of the city and the Space Needle's inner structure. The $100 million modernization project, led by Otis Elevator Company, is part of an effort to ensure the Space Needle remains a symbol of Seattle's innovative spirit for future generations. The new elevator is the first of three that will be replaced by 2028, with the next double-decker elevator scheduled for completion in 2027.
